About me

Hi Guys,

This is SC Vinod from Chennai, India. I’m working in a MNC based out of Chennai. I work on various Microsoft technologies. I have worked as a SharePoint consultant in a couple of Ministries in Bahrain for SharePoint 2010 implementation. My SharePoint projects were based on Document Management System, Enterprise Search Customization, Taxonomy enhancements, Workflows automation, Integrating FAST search & BCS, Timer jobs, Intranet web parts, and a lots more. I have also worked in a couple of Silverlight projects. I have integrated Silverlight and SharePoint to develop Rich Intranet Applications but due to the imminent extinction of Silverlight, I have instead started using JavaScript and jQuery more. I’m right now updating myself on SharePoint 2013 features and also looking forward to work on Windows Phone development to get into mobile application development.

I have started this blog to share about my experience that I get, challenges I face, applications I develop in my day to day work life. I’m also quite active in the SharePoint forum in MSDN these days helping out SharePoint professionals and also seeking help for myself. You can look at my profile over here.
